The Client
A medium-sized private company in Edinburgh.
The Problem
The client needed to reorganise the way it operated and implement a full organisational restructure. As this would lead to redundancies, they wanted to implement a new Staff Handbook that would contain explicit redundancy policies and dismissal procedures.
Our Solution
Following our free
HR Health Check, we worked with the senior management team to create a new Staff Handbook.
We advised on redundancy procedures, dismissals and disciplinary and grievance issues to ensure all Employment Law requirements were met. We held consultation meetings with the staff and the management team to introduce the new policies and procedures and deal with any questions.
The Result
The new methods and restructured organisation were successfully introduced. We streamlined and restructured the employment policies and procedures, and introduced the new Staff Handbook. We continue to work with the client to provide Employee Relation advice.
